This place has gone down a bit in recent years but it's still okay. Feels like they need some serious air conditioning in that teeny place. Even my Blizzard came out a little too soft from the heat. I've been coming here for many years so an extra star for nostalgia!

Like other reviewers I too wish I could give this dump ZERO stars. I truly cannot say anything good here --- I know I know ... It's Dairy Queen. The big DQ. Americana at its finest. The stuff we grew up with. This particular establishment, however, was embarrassing. The owner should be ashamed that he/she allows such an operation to even exist. The workers seemed high and couldn't give two hoots about doing any work. It took 20 min to make 3 blizzards and 1 smoothie. At one point all 3 of the crew where in the back - God knows doing what -- nowhere to be found. On top of all of these lovely comments -- the place was DIRTY like a pig sty. It felt gross! I would NOT go back to this pit. You'd have better luck eating off the sidewalk. Beware!

Whether because their credit card machine doesn't work, or they decide to "close" early but keep the open sign on (i'm looking at you, Jessica, and you bet I'm calling your boss tomorrow), you are guaranteed to have a crappy time with this DQ. Horrible customer service almost everytime, and I've lived on the westside for 5 years. I don't know why I keep trying.

On a hot day, this place is super busy! The staff seems to manage the crowds well, and hustles to get people in, out, and served as quickly as possible. Amazing specials! Super cheap snacks if you're in the mood for some fries, ice cream, and a drink. Although everything was great, I did; however, witness management snap at an employee who was doing me a courtesy of re-dipping my chocolate dripped cone, because it came out gross the first time. The manager tried to say it was because of the heat, but every other ice cream dipped fine. And since we ordered 4 dipped cones at that exact moment, I think I have a firm foundation in saying so! Parking in back.

Drove up and ordered a burger with a buy-one-get-one coupon which I announced. Waited maybe 10 minutes for the car in front of me. Shocked when all they get are four blizzards. That makes me nervous. I get to the window and the girl seems surprised I want two burgers. I then wait another 10 minutes or so for my order. The girl at the window thrusts the bag at me with so much a thank you for your business or sorry we are so slow because there is apparently no manager on site and we have no training. Burger had a few strands of completely wilted lettuce and a faded small tomato. Not likely to ever return.

DUMP!!!! Like some of the other reviewers, I'm sorry I can't give zero stars. This place is a complete dump. This place needs to be torn down - it is disgusting! They never have chocolate ice cream, only vanilla and only once (of the very few times I've stopped in) did the machine seem to be working correctly. I talked to an employee and she told me it is broken more than not and the owner would not buy a new machine (and yet they can afford to be throwing out batches of "ice cream" daily because of problems). That's also why they only offer the vanilla. One time the ice cream tasted like chemicals - very bizarre. I don't know what it was but after one lick, it went into the trash and it was at least a year before I stopped in to try again. I think I will be calling the health inspector because the "kitchen" looked absolutely disgusting. I have no idea how this building stays open. Seriously, seriously - tear this it down!

Generally the food is cooked pretty well here. Though, for some reason lately, they keep not adding chocolate fudge in my chocolate chip cookie dough blizzard. It tastes poor without it. Ask politely to remake it and they look at you like they're offended that you asked. Also it is always extremely hot in the lobby. Today they had both the A/C and the heater going at the same time with both doors closed even when it was cool outside. The lobby is also very cramped.

I'm not sure what would make a Dairy Queen employee surly, especially when there are no other customers in the store, but I've been in here 2 or 3 times and it's always the same thing. They aren't apparently busy, but they act like you just interrupted their whole world by trying to order a Bilzzard. Really? Didn't anyone tell you that that is what you are there for???

Food and service here is usually very good. Not sure what happened tonight. Young short guy with glasses took my order. Pretty sure he was stoned out of his mind. I had to repeat my order at the counter 4 times before my wife had to step in and do it. Not happy this time around and my family loves coming here.
